Between 1960 and 1985 there were 161 completed laps of the course.
In 2006 163 people walked the whole course in a single year!

I've been Involved in athletics for more than 46 years but my aged legs no longer permit me to run around Douglas early in the morning as I did from 2008. Previously a race walker, marathon runner and athletics official.
