Hi Murray, i found your Drachten result on the internet and send you the link to it. It was in 1978 and the coincidence is that the race was organised by mt club SV de LAT !!!

Pretty awful split times - I blew up!
I had forgotten that Steve Barry won the race. I didn't speak to him until the following year but got to know him well later (although lost touch many years ago). He was British record holder and Commonwealth Games Champion.
